Greetings:
Welcome! On behalf of the Mighty Northeast District, I bring you greeting to our official website. The Northeast District was chartered in 1959 and is comprised of the following states, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Northern New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and the Island of Bermuda. In our sixty-two (62) years history, we have been committed to “Moving Forward with a Purpose” forging forward by promoting our National Programs of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Service (LETS) to the local and global communities. We continuously embrace the “Vision” of our seven (7) founders, which is to promote the interests of Business and Professorial Women and Invest ourselves in the willing service of others.
We continue the legacy of the past Governors of the Northeast District to promote and protect the interest of African American businesses; by developing business network throughout the United States, providing leadership workshops for leaders of today and tomorrow and technology training. The district continues to provide support through scholarships for those who are over twenty-five (25) and returning to school, and through our local clubs we have also provided scholarship to students throughout the district which has succeeded over $100,000 in support. We continue our partnership with the American Heart Association as we promote “Think Heart, Think Health” which is one of our mandated national programs.
We strategically, and enthusiastically have strived and will continue to strive to improve the lives of our local and global communities through dynamic programming that addresses the concerns of the leaders in the twenty-first (21) century.
